A couple of months ago we looked at what’s inside one of the Heets that PMI’s iQOS heated tobacco device is fed with. That’s turned out to be quite a popular post, which isn’t really a surprise. After all, it’s an exciting new technology and people want to know how it works.
Category: PRODUCT REVIEWS
The very latest product reviews of current harm reduction technology.
Although we are primarily concentrating on heated tobacco products we also do reviews of other harm reduction products such as e-cigarettes and nicotine pouches. Heat Not Burn UK has a some very good professional reviewers (Paul, Shannon and Fergus) that constantly produce thorough and unbiased opinions on the many devices we have been sent over the last 7 years.
We get many companies contacting us asking us to review their heated tobacco devices. If you are a company that manufactures heat not burn products please feel free to contact us and we may review your device for free. The only stipulation is that you include the device for free and cover the postage costs when sending it to one of our expert reviewers.
We do our best to be impartial, if the device is great we will say it’s great, if it’s not very good we will say it’s not very good. We will also point out its flaws and in some instances even offer advice on what we think could make the device much better. :-)
iQOS Update – What’s Inside A Heet
One of the most popular pages on this site is our review of Philip Morris’s innovative iQOS heated tobacco device. That’s not much of a surprise, because iQOS has probably had more publicity than any other Heat not Burn product and it’s also the most widely available. It’s steadily rolling out beyond the first test markets and can now be bought in the UK, Spain, the Netherlands and several other countries; before too long it will be available globally as an alternative to cigarettes, and I think it’s going to be a huge success.
BAT’s glo – sneak preview
A couple of months ago we looked at BAT’s heated tobacco device called glo, their stick-fed iQOS rival that’s currently being trialed in Japan. It still hasn’t been released in other markets, and BAT haven’t revealed their plans for it yet, so it could be a while before smokers in the UK have a chance to try it. Just so you know what you’re waiting for, however, Heat Not Burn UK set out to track one down. It was a struggle, but last week one of our agents finally managed to get his hands on the elusive device so we can bring you a BAT glo preview.
