JTI to launch the new Ploom X soon.

Ploom XReading Time: 2 minutes

Here at Heat Not Burn UK we have been selling JTI’s Ploom heated tobacco devices for quite some time now. We had been selling the Ploom S 20 device but that is now being replaced with a brand new and improved device called the Ploom X.

Details are fairly thin on the ground at the moment but we will of course be doing one of our usual in-depth full reviews of the device, just like we did for the Ploom S 20 as soon as we get our hands on one.

According to the excellent Grocery Trader UK website there have been many improvements over the incumbent Ploom S 20 heated tobacco device, and they are as follows:

  • A redesigned HeatFlow™ system and a higher heating temperature to ensure a more consistent nicotine delivery and enhanced flavour sensation from the first puff.
  • One simple heating mode which makes the device easy for customers to use.
  • Adjustments to the airflow system enabling a more consistent vapour delivery and increased vapour volume.
  • Longer session times of up to 5 minutes and the ability to use more EVO Tobacco Sticks per charge, with up to 22 sessions with just one charge.
  • A smaller and more compact device.

It is good to see that they are doing away with the twin heating mode instead opting for a single heating mode. It is also very encouraging to hear that they have also made improvements with regards to ensuring a more consistent delivery too.

Different Ploom X Colours

We always get excited over a new heated tobacco product launch because the more devices that there are available the more chance a regular smoker has of switching to a much safer way of enjoying nicotine. We look forward to adding the Ploom X to our growing list of harm-reduction products very soon.

Ploom devices are products manufactured by JTI (Japan Tobacco International) and are aimed at adult smokers over 18 years of age.

UPDATE (6th November 2022): We are now selling this new Ploom X device and it can be purchased HERE.
